Victoria Villasenor
Victoria Villaseñor, M.A. (she/her/ella), serves as a Study Abroad & Exchange Advisor in International Education & Global Engagement at Chico State. She supports students as they explore study abroad and exchange opportunities, compare programs, navigate applications, and prepare for their experiences abroad or away. In particular, she serves as the primary advisor for CSU International Programs (CSU IP), Direct Exchange (DE), and National Student Exchange (NSE) participants.
Victoria was born and raised in Chico and is a proud Wildcat! As an undergraduate student, she studied abroad with USAC twice! First for a semester in Montevideo, Uruguay, and later for a winter session in Havana, Cuba. While completing her master’s degree in history, she also studied abroad for a summer in Oaxaca, Mexico, through San Diego State University. She especially valued the opportunity to strengthen her Spanish skills, study Latin American history while immersed in the region, and deepen her connection to her Mexican roots.
