They have taught two sections of English 130 and have been involved in 131 mentorship in both undergraduate years and as a graduate student, most recently co-leading the jumbo English 131 sections with Kim Jaxon in Fall 2026. You can find Sel’s work in Watershed Review (Fall 2023) and their upcoming thesis, focusing on the digital literacies and rhetorical communities of transgender youth online, will be completed in Spring of 2027. When they aren’t on campus, you can find them working at a local grocery store, playing with one of their pets, or somewhere green outdoors.
