Katherine B Reyes
Hi everyone! I'm Dr. Katherine Reyes, and I'm excited to be joining the University Housing team as a Residence Life Coordinator! I'm a proud Chico State alumna, where I earned my B.A. in Bilingual Liberal Studies, before completing my M.A. in Higher Education Leadership at the University of San Diego and my Ph.D. in Leadership and Global Change at Pepperdine University. Over the past 12 years, I've had the opportunity to work in student affairs, residence life, community development, compliance, and student support, all of which have strengthened my passion for helping students feel seen, supported, and connected. My doctoral research focused on mentoring, belonging, and student success for first-generation college students, and I'm excited to bring that passion into our residential community. Whether its helping students navigate challenges, celebrating their accomplishments, or simply chatting around campus, I look forward to getting to know each of you.
