Teaching and Research Interests Dr. Lima’s teaching and research focus on animal nutrition, sustainable livestock systems, and precision animal management. His work explores nutritional strategies to enhance feed efficiency and improve animal performance while promoting environmental sustainability. He integrates digital technologies (including sensors, UAVs, and computer vision systems) into animal production systems to better monitor animal welfare, behavior, and productivity.
