Greg Morales
I was born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in Brooklyn and Stockton, California. After taking classes at a community college, I returned to higher education as an adult student and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simpson University. In 2020, I completed a Master of Arts in Social Science with an option in Career and Life Planning from Chico State.
I began my career at Chico State in Print and Mail Services before moving to the Office of the Registrar in Student Records in 2017. From there, I transitioned to Graduation Advising in 2021 and Academic Advising in 2024. I currently serve as the Academic Advising Coordinator for Exploratory Studies, supporting our undeclared student population.
Working with students has been a rewarding part of my professional journey. I value the opportunity to support students during an important stage of their lives, helping them navigate their educational paths, explore their goals, and build confidence in their decisions.
Outside of work, I enjoy writing, running, hiking, camping, and spending time with my granddaughters.
