Elizabeth Kimerer
Elizabeth was raised in Northern California, where she attended Butte College before transferring to Cal Poly Humboldt to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and an Education Specialist Credential. In 2021, Elizabeth began working full time as an education specialist and later transitioned to a benefits counselor role for a local family resource center.
She joined CSU, Chico in late 2024 and transitioned into Academic Advising in June 2026. In her previous roles, Elizabeth gravitated toward helping people navigate options to improve their lives and those of their families, making Academic Advising a natural fit! She especially enjoys working for Chico State because of the positive campus community and charming environment.
In her free time, she enjoys riding tandem with her husband, walking her dogs, finding secondhand treasures, sewing, creating art, and listening to music.
