Rouben Mohiuddin
Rouben Mohiuddin is a Professor of Interior Architecture at California State University, Chico. Rouben is a certified designer and professor with over 30 years of experience in architecture and interior design. His journey began with a Bachelor's in Architecture and Environmental Design from the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by a Master's in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). These formative experiences laid a foundation of interdisciplinary study, blending art, science, and cultural theory.
His professional career spans roles in notable design firms in Los Angeles and New York, where he specialized in custom residential projects, furniture, and sustainable design. At CSU Chico, he is deeply committed to teaching foundational design, guiding students in understanding spatial dynamics, sustainable practices, and innovative design solutions.
