Glenn Thomas Rush

Glenn supports the University's marketing goals by promoting Chico State’s brand, engaging the community, and advancing strategic initiatives. He collaborates with the talented teams in University Communications to activate campaigns across paid, organic, and earned channels. With over 15 years of experience in creative and marketing leadership, Glenn brings a range of expertise in strategy, management, and design.
He began his marketing career as a designer for Chico Performances in 2009 and went on to build his skills at agencies and with in-house creative teams. Returning to Chico State marks a full-circle moment, bringing him back to the institution where it all began.
A proud Chico State alumnus, Glenn earned his BA in Communication Design. He has applied his degree to a fulfilling career in marketing, creating engaging and strategic content, leading high-profile brand initiatives, and producing national campaigns across a variety of industries. Glenn is a creative problem solver with an appetite for knowledge and growth—all in pursuit of better serving his community.
