Linguistics

I am a linguist who studies questions of multilingualism, language endangerment, and language change from a usage-based perspective. My main focus of research is the documentation and description of Sanapaná, a language spoken by around 900 people in Paraguay. I currently teach courses in the English Department and the Department of Languages and Cultures.
