Noelle Ferdon Brimlow has worked on local food and agriculture policy, and disability rights and prisoner's rights advocacy. Ferdon Brimlow has led numerous grant-funded projects including coordination of the Buy Fresh Buy Local, North Valley agricultural marketing program with over 100 farmer, rancher and food business members, edited/published four editions of the North Valley’s Eater’s Guide to Local Food, chaired a USDA-funded Technical Advisory Committee and workshop development for the National Institute of Food and Agriculture's (NIFA) Beginning Farmer Rancher Development Program, and co-founded and directed the development of the North Valley Food Hub. She worked nationally for a DC-based organization lobbying to promote agricultural policies benefiting small- and medium-sized farmers and ranchers.

Additionally, Professor Brimlow worked for a statewide California non-profit representing clients with developmental disabilities and worked for Prisoner Legal Services in the San Francisco County Jail. Ferdon Brimlow has been awarded numerous state and federal grants to develop programs, implement policy and conduct research. She has taught the following courses: Legal Research and Writing, Constitutional Law, Environmental Politics and Policy, Environmental Policy and the Law and Justice System Administration. 

Professor Brimlow spent 3 of her 4 undergrad years actively involved in the Community Legal Information Clinic (CLIC) and is honored to be back as a supporting faculty member for CLIC. Noelle Ferdon Brimlow has a B.A. in Political Science from CSU, Chico and a J.D. from Golden Gate University’s School of Law with certificates in Public Interest and Environmental Law.
