Katie Parsons
I graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies from Sacramento State in 2009. I also hold an M.S. in Human Resources from Drexel University, where my research focus was Employee Engagement. Before joining Chico State in 2022, I had a 17 year career in financial services. For the last 10 years, I served in various leadership positions including Assistant Vice President at a major bank where I led large scale efforts with a constant focus on employee value and development. I use this leadership experience to identify opportunities for equitable student success and to create actionable, data-driven plans to grow the institution's success. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Association and enjoy all that Chico State has to offer.
